The Day-to-Day Maintenance and Maintenance:

1 When Hardness Tester Is Not in Use for a Long Time, Apply Dust Cover to Cover the Machine.

2 Regularly Inject a Small Amount of Oil into the Contact Surface between the Lead Screw and the Handwheel.

3 before Using the Hardness Tester, the Top Surface of the Lead Screw and the Upper End Surface of the Workbench Should Be Wiped Clean.

4 If the Basic Error of Hardness Is Found to Be Large:

①Take down the Workbench and Check Whether Its Contact Surface with the Screw Is Clean;

② Check Whether the Lead Screw Protective Sleeve Lifts the Workbench;

③ Check Whether the Pressure Nozzle Is Damaged.

5 If the Main Test Force Is Applied, the Indicator Pointer Starts to Rotate Very Fast and Then Slowly, Indicating That the Oil in the BufferToo Little. at This Time, the Felt Pad on the Upper End of the Buffer Can Be Lifted and Clean 20# Oil Can Be Slowly Injected. At the Same Time, Pull the Handle Several Times to Make the Piston Move up and down for Many Times, and Remove All the Air in the Buffer until the Oil Overflows from the Piston When It Sinks to the Bottom. 

6 Check the Accuracy of Hardness Tester Regularly with the Standard Hardness Block Carried by This Machine.

①Clean the Workbench and Standard Hardness Block, and Conduct the Test on the Working Face of the Hardness Block, and Never Allow the Test on the Supporting Surface.

② If the Basic Error Is Large, in Addition to Checking According to Item 4 of This Section, Check Whether There Are Burrs on the Supporting Surface of the Standard Hardness Block, IfOil Stone Should Be Used to Polish Burrs.

③ When Testing the Standard Hardness Block at Different Positions, the Hardness Block Should Be Dragged on the Workbench and Should Not Be Taken Away from the Workbench.

7 This Instrument Should Be Checked Regularly and Verified Periodically.
