Universal Car HUD Head Up Display MPH KMH Speed Warning System 

Instructions:

This system has been designed for simple DIY installation and can be installed into any vehicle with a 12V electrical system, by plugging into the vehicles cigarette lighter or accessory sockets.

This Head Up Display (HUD) System uses GPS signals to calculate the vehicle speed, therefore it will not work inside buildings, underground carparks or tunnels where a GPS signal is unavailable.

Please read these instructions fully before installation.

This system could display the speed of navigation and other important information on the windshield, driver as far as possible not to bow to see. Research shows that the widespread use of this technology greatly reduces the driver due to bow and other actions caused by traffic safety risks.

1. Upon first use, or after long periods of storage please allow up to 5 minutes to find a GPS signal. During frequent use, a GPS sigal will be found in under one minute.

2. Place unit in a suitable location on dash, use the provided sticky mat to prevent the unit sliding around. Plug in and power up the unit, it will automatically start searching signal is found. The display will only show the speed when the signal light LED is in the green status. If the signal is lost, the indicator will turn red and the speed will show 0.

3. Stick the transparent film onto a suitable position on the windscreen so the HUD image is projected onto this film, enabling a clear forward view of the speed display from the drivers seat position. The transparent film will allow clear vision in direct sunlight, and also prevent reflection outside of your vehicle at night time. Use of the transparent film is recommended.

4. Speed alert setting: rotate the dial on the side of the unit to select a speed-ranging between 10 and 180Km/h. When you have selected a speed, the display will return to current speed after approximately 2 seconds. To enable/ disable the audible speed alert warning. Use the toggle switch located on the side of the unit. If you exceed the set speed alert, the unit will beep in conjunction with the speed icon falshing red. If the audible alert is turned off, the speed icon will still illuminate.

5. This HUD unit is fitted with an automatic light sensitive diode, automatically dimming the screen at night, or when undercover.
